This text based, 5 session English planning focuses on the senses and night-time, using art and music. It allows opportunities to work on adventurous word choices and learn about structured language patterns. Pupils explore how to write questions and add -ing to words whilst learning the poems by heart.

All aspects of poetry from the national curriculum in reading, spoken language and writing composition will be covered across the full set Au1-Su2.
