Come and experience our new-style subject leader briefings over the coming year where we will share recent updates with a cup of tea and biscuit in hand. Each session will inform you of up-to-date documentation, articles and inspiring texts, and provide useful hints and tips to support in your role as English leader. As part of these sessions, we will offer short surgery slots to focus on your key English priorities (allocated timings will depend on numbers attending).

The focus of each session is as follows:

- Oracy and Vocabulary Development: Explore techniques and resources for boosting oracy skills and vocabulary development among your students.
- Writing Assessment and Changes to Y2: Stay informed about writing assessment changes in Year 2 and learn how to navigate them effectively.
- Evaluation, Book Monitoring, and Action Planning for the Year Ahead: Discover best practices for evaluating student progress, monitoring books, and crafting action plans for the upcoming year.
