This course comprises four sessions with a focus on developing outstanding literacy teaching in EYFS. It will provide teachers with ideas to support the development of early reading and writing through engaging texts.
Session one will investigate communication at the heart of literacy and key strategies to support language development. Practical activities will be shared to take back to each setting.
Session two will involve focus on the development of phonics and reading in the Early Years. An engaging unit of work will be shared for teachers to take back to school and use to enhance provision for reading and writing across the environment.
Session three will begin by sharing outcomes from the previous unit of work with the  opportunity to moderate with colleagues.
Session four will prepare EYFS teachers for the transition to the new EYFS framework.
Virtual training – 1 hour 45 minutes for each session, 4:00pm – 5:45pm

Session 3: 26th January 2021
Session 4: 30th March 2021
£240 +VAT per delegate for all four sessions
Individual Sessions £60 +VAT per delegate
