Pathways to Write Second Cycle – Register Your Interest
Join the waiting list for the second cycle of Pathways to Write to be the first in line to receive our brand new units.
These units are the first to be released from a new set of our award-winning Pathways to Write programme. If you wish to try Pathways to Write in your school, then these diverse units would be a great way to experience the methodology and resources together in a whole school thematic approach.
For existing Pathways to Write schools, you may be looking to add further creativity and flexibility to your current long-term plan and curriculum. The autumn units celebrating the lives of key Black figures are the first set to be released from a whole second phase of Pathways to Write units – 36 brand new units for Y1-Y6 to compliment the second cycle of EYFS units already produced. The focus of these units is to engage your pupils in current and past themes including:
- Historical periods (Ancient Greeks, Great Fire of London, Mary Anning and her fossils, Anglo-Saxons)
- Environmental issues (Global warming, climate change, pollution, coral bleaching, plastic)
- Units to support Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural development (refugees, acceptance, empathy, children’s rights, diversity)
- Shakespeare themed units (reading and writing related to Shakespeare’s plays, spoken language development, focus on performance)
