What to do When Someone is Blue by The Literacy Company is a non-fiction text about how we all feel a little bit off sometimes. The text explores how to spot the signs when someone is blue, how we can get ourselves back on track and also how we can support other. The unit also looks at a selection of contemporary poems on the theme to explore and appreciate all our feelings.

These reading units comprise 6 weeks of whole class reading plans focusing on the teaching of key reading skills from the national curriculum.
