With beautiful photography, lively illustrations, and key curriculum information, this book will satisfy any child who is eager to learn and acquire facts about these incredible geographical wonders. 

These reading units comprise 6 weeks of whole class reading plans focusing on the teaching of key reading skills from the national curriculum. Each week provides an opportunity for pupils to develop reading fluency and to practise prediction, clarifying of vocabulary and retrieval skills. There is also a weekly mastery focus for explicit teaching of how to use dictionaries, investigating the structure of the text and retrieving information.
