Resources to support story telling

This year’s World Book day aim was to share a million stories. Why? Because the number of children regularly hearing stories being read to them is rapidly in decline and now we have a chance to do something about it. We all have our favourites but it can be difficult to know which stories to choose and what will engage children. As a rule all children love a good story and even older children take great comfort in re-visiting an old favourite. We have the luxury of being surrounded by books in our offices but for many it is hard to know where to turn. For that reason we have compiled a list of resources which you may find useful:
