Course Bookings:

Payment Invoices will be sent following the course. If appropriate, please ensure a PO number is raised prior to the course. Payments must be made within 30 days from the date of invoice.

What happens if I need to cancel?

Cancellations confirmed 2 weeks before the course date will be charged an administration fee of £30. We regret that no refund can be made after that date, but it may be possible to transfer to another course or for another member of staff to attend the course.

  1. In-School Support and Training:
    Payment Invoices will be sent following the support/training or at agreed intervals for a series of support/training. If appropriate, please ensure a PO number is raised prior to the support/training. Payments must be made within 30 days from the date of invoice.
    What happens if I need to cancel?

    Cancellations for each session within the following timescales will incur charges as follows:
    1) Up to 7 days prior – 100% of payment due
    2) 8 days to 28 days prior – 50% of payment due
    3) 29 days to 2 months prior – an administration fee of £30 will be charged. This fee will be waived if an alternative date is re-arranged

If a school cancels support within 28 days, the school will be invoiced immediately in line with the fees in points 1 & 2. If the same support is re- booked within 5 working days, the cancellation fee will be taken into consideration at our discretion. An additional £50+VAT admin fee may be charged.

Cancellations by The Literacy Company;

Should The Literacy Company be unable to provide training/support due to illness or circumstances beyond our control, we will not be liable for any costs incurred by the customer. We will endeavour to re-arrange training/support at a mutually convenient date.
